We spent all weekend cooking and watching sports teams from Boston. As Maegen mentioned, I made the season's first stew Saturday night. Today we made beef stock from stratch - what an adventure. Hopefully we'll be able to use it for a while in the stews. For dinner we had skirt steak on a bed of baby spinach topped with a mushroom medley and a parsley sauce.
